[PHOTO] FG Puts Up Two Presidential Jets For Sale Over Recession

The Federal Government has put up for sale of two aircrafts in the presidential fleet according to an advert placed in a national daily. The advert asks interested buyers to show interest for the two aircrafts – a Falcon 7X (5N- FGU) and Hawker 4000 (5N-FGX). The Falcon 7X has a 16 passenger and 3 crew members capacity, while the Hawker 4000 can seat 9 passengers and 6 crew members. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on September 8, 2016, said the Federal Government has constituted a committee looking into the sales of some presidential jets. He said: “There is a govt committee already in place, working to reduce the number of aircraft in the presidential fleet.” “Some aircraft will be boarded, some others returned to the Air Force for operations.
