
A Danish young man and a bicyclist enthusiast, rode
a bicycle from Denmark to Nigeria (7,245.9 km,
which is 94 hours by drive).
26-year-old Sunnel Thuesem was received at the
U. J. Esuene, Calabar by some government
officials (Prince Godswill Edward-Prince- SA on
Youth Affairs, Mr. Effiwatt- S.A Sports, Mr. Eric
Anderson– S.A Tourism), on behalf of the Cross
River State government.
Mr. Edward shared his pictures with the caption:
“We as youths need to be focus, resilient, patient,
hardworking, tenacious and confident for we to
achieve any set goal in life.”
“This was my word to youths today at the U. J.
Esuene, Calabar when I and other two political
appointees( Mr. Effiwatt- S.A Sports and Mr. Eric
Anderson- S.A Tourism), on behalf of the Cross
River State government received Mr. Sunnel
Thuesem, a Danish young man and a bicyclist
enthusiast, age 26, who rode bicycle from
Denmark to Nigeria (Lagos-Benin-Calabar) and
enroute Cameroon to South Africa.”
